Bush may very well be deluded into believing that he is playing a glorious role in the lead-up to Armageddon, but I don't think Chey, Perle, Wolfowitz, Rice, Ledeen, and the rest of the top power brokers have that excuse. That just makes Bush easier for them to manipulate.

If Bush believes this, at some point, he'll cast aside his advisors and just go for broke. Now that's a scary thought, if ever there was one.
