Costco's Bookshelf

While at Costco this morning I noted down the names of the politically oriented volumes on the book table. Here is the list starting from the high visibility end:

Hannity.....Deliver Us From Evil
Clark.........Against All Enemies
Hughes......Ten Minutes From Normal
Leamer......Sons of Camelot
Stossel.......Give Me A Break
Franken......Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them
Lewis... .....Buying of the President 2004
Goldberg....Bias
Charon......Useful Idiots
Hannity.....Let Freedom Ring
I don't know as there is much to make of this beyond this is what they are selling and the prices are good. Perhaps I'll do this again in a month or so and with more data we might have more fun.

That's a pretty interesting spread of political ideologies, too.

Now, aside from that: the only time I have the chance to get to Costco is on the weekends. Is that a sneak preview of hell, or is it just me? Sometimes I wonder if the price is worth the rise in blood pressure that usually accompanies the trip.

I do not go to Costco on weekends.

Early weekday mornings or late weekday afternoons work pretty well for me and only if it is on the way to or from somewhere...no special trips. Then the cost savings may be worth it.

And there are some good items in their ready to cook section...we have the salmon once a month or so.

We just got a Costco near us!! I haven't been there yet, but it's on my list of sites to see (heh) next weekend. Too bad I'll be broke. Strange I always seem to find money for a new book lol.
