Stanley Cup Finals
Tampa Bay beat Calgary 2-1 in game 7 of the series and wins the Stanley Cup in game that was much more exciting than the one masquerading as basketball last night.
Drat! The Modulator household was rooting for Calgary.

I was rooting for Tampa; they had more fire until the final ten minutes.
All in all, a very satisfying Final. Too bad it was pooh-poohed by the media.
Posted by Scott at June 8, 2004 9:06 AMYea, Tampa was the agressor pretty much from the beginning of the first OT in game 6 through to the last 10 minutes or so of this game.
I don't watch much hockey but certainly enjoyed this series.
