Finally a Reason....
...to consider getting an MP3 player: Feynman lectures on Physics.
Let's see, what might a Friday random 10 might look like:
- Brownian Movement
- Ferromagnetism
- Spin One Half
- The Hamiltonian Matix
- Transients
- Conservation of Energy
- Inside Dielectrics
- Space-Time
- Symmetry and Conservation Laws
- The Harmonic Oscillator
For the visually inclined there are also PDFs.

Posted by Steve on April 1, 2005Thanks for passing on the link. Feynman rocks!
I have the CDs for "Six Not-So-Easy Pieces," and they're great.
If you dig Dr. Feynman, you should also check out his autobiography,
Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!: Adventures of a Curious Character
and its sequel,
What Do You Care What Other People Think?: Further Adventures of a Curious Character
Just the Jello story (in the first book, I think) makes the purchase well worth the price. Of course, I buy most of my books used via fetchbook.info, so don't usually pay too much.
Thanks for the recommendations. I haven't read these and will add them to the queue.
