I'm going to follow you, but let me warn you right now that it's going to be annoying. Because when you go to follow me back, you're going to have to request permission, since my updates are private.

That's my major annoyance with Twitter and private updates. When someone who's private, like me, follows someone else, the someone else should automatically get permission to see the private updates. It just seems wrong that I can follow people and still hide behind my private status.
