And, there is the rub: If she had the necessary prescription. But, why should she have to go through the trouble and cost of getting a prescription for an Earpopper?

Exactly! I suppose once you have one, you’re set, but what a waste of time and money to have to make a doctor’s visit before a plane trip to get a prescription so you can go to a drugstore and buy one of these.
I wonder if there is any negative side effect from over-use? The articles don’t say.
