Need to Avoid Blogging? 4 comments

Mrs Modulator found a wikiHow article on her Google homepage that provides some advice on dissuading oneself from blogging. Most of the article’s suggestions fit, well, they fit those they fit. That is, if you are going to follow them you are not going to blog and probably didn’t really want to.
There is one suggestion that we all should pay a bit of attention to whenever we start an activity or project:

Ask yourself if you really have the time to commit to a blog.

Be it blogging, Go, a treehouse, or any other project or pastime you are going to trade off some other activity. Make sure you trade off the right ones.

Need to remove a hickey? Or advise someone about hickey removal? Here’s the wikiHow article.

I got caught up reading a “related article” on wikiHow, and I had to laugh at this:

For any new blogger, it would be wise to pay attention in English courses. (That’s where one learns the difference between “your” and “you’re.”)

It came at the end, a ways after this:
Choose one that appears to be workable for you. I’ve known a lot of people who start a blog not knowing a single thing about making their site individual to them, and lets face it html codes are a hard trick to learn, so check it out. If it looks a little to hard to creat your blog site and your confused, then don’t use that site. I tend to use Inthewire.com, because even though it may go down for a few weeks at a time, its the most user friendly.

Why, yes, it seemed a perfectly good way to demonstrate the breadth of how to articles available…:)
…else why would I lead into it with those 3 short spiffy sentences?
